2007 was the saddest, blackest year for Pakistan. Killings of political leaders, bloody mayhem of 12th May, Lal Masjid, blasts of 18th October in Benazir’s’ procession and now her murder. Musharraf refused to register FIR against Benazir’s named suspects. No inquiry took place for 170 murders in her procession, only lip service and lies.
Same will be offered this time. It suits Musharraf, PML (Q) and MQM if the political leaders are eliminated under the cover of Al-Qaeda, extremists. Let UN, US, EC, hold inquiries through their international agencies.
